Is it just me, or did MacGyver have ASD. He had real difficulty with relationships, and he knew almost everything there was to know, at
just the right time. I say this, because MacGyver was favorite show as a little kid.

Richard Dean Anderson (who played "MacGyver") does not have Autism, so his characters don't, either.

I did not say Richard Dean Anderson has ASD in real life, I just meant that his character, MacGyver, seemed as if he could have it.

Since MacGyver was not a real person, then any condition attributed to him would not be real either.

So no, MacGyver did not have Autism.

He was a ladies man. Plus he was an amazing hockey player.

MacGyver is one of my favorite shows. I never thought he has ASD but I think he is the ultimate ladies man. Seriously, he has been with more women than Genghis Khan

I haven't seen an episode of the show in such a long time, but MacGuyver never struck me as someone with ASD - very smart but he had none of the social issues that come with it - shyness, lack of eye contact, etc.

Gosh I was probably in 1st grade when MacGyver was on TV. I remember watching some episodes.

Don't think the hockey makes him non-ASD, I know some hockey players who are Aspie.

But yes, I think MacGyver hit it off far too easily with far too many women to be AS 8)

Yes. He seemed obsessed by duct tape.
