Star Wars Easter Plushies???

Today I was shopping at the local 'mart, and browsing around the stuff they have out now for Easter. And I saw the dumbest, weirdest, craziest thing ever. Plushies of Star Wars characters with bunny ears! Darth Vader with bunny ears, are you kidding me?! Possibly the most non-Easter character ever! They are really squeezing the few drops of proverbial milk out dry. I'm not a big fan of Star Wars although I liked the trilogy back when I was still a kid, but enough is enough! I guess now that Disney owns them there will be a new animated movie in which a chibi-style Luke has a wise-cracking light sabre that sings, but I don't really care. Evil, murderous Darth Vader as the Easter Bunny, what next? There are even Star Wars Angry Birds. I never understood the "popularity" of Angry Birds, but that's another story.

They had them last year as well, before Disney owned them. And last Christmas, in santa hats.

It's interesting you should mention Darth Vader in bunny ears...cuz I got an Easter card from my folks that shows Vader with pink bunny ears and an Easter basket, and he's saying to one of his soldiers, "Tear this ship apart until they are found!" or something to that extent....and on the inside, the card reads, "Even Easter egg hunts can bring out the dark side in people. Happy Easter!" xD

But yeah, you're right...Darth Vader is one of the last characters I would ever expect to see wearing bunny ears.
