The best way to describe O'Brien and Bashir's relationship is bromance which I don't think was a word that existed in the 90's.

Does McCoy's hostility toward Spock indicate a certain jealousy in a possible threesome with Kirk?

But seriously, there's Spock and Uhura in the Star trek reboot. I for one didn't see that coming.

^^^ If I'm not mistaken, a relationship between Spock and Uhura was hinted at in TOS.

Personally, I'd like to see a bit of 'special' Yeoman Rand/Jadizia Dax action... It coulda happened during "Trials and Tribble-ations."

No, think more in the manner of a heterosexual best friend sort of thing.
