A question about "Dirge Of Cerberus"

I just got this game for Playstation 2 called FF7 "Dirge Of Cerberus" and I was wondering if Red 13/Nanaki is a playable character in it. Back when I played FF7 for the PS1, I always spoiled Nanaki and gave him all the good things like Enemy Skill, Knights Of The Round and a Ribbon. I'll be SERIOUSLY BUMMED if I can't use him as an ally party member.

I'm unsure as to whether Nanaki is an NPC or not in DoC, but after you've played it a while could you tell me whether it's a good game or not? I've been procrastinating for a while as to whether or not I should buy it, I'm just not sure if it's going to be worth it or not. If it's a good game then I'm totally gonna buy it, I just don't want to waste my money (I've bought some pretty expensive games in the past that turned out to be absolute crap, so yeah...)

Sorry, in fact, Red XIII is only seen at the very end, and he doesn't even have a speaking role. The game's emphasis is on Vincent, Reeve Tuesti (Cait Sith's operator), Cid and Yuffie. Cloud, Tifa and Barret have cameos, but Vincent and his past make up most of the story. Don't be too annoyed though. This game has a good story, and introduces not just more about Vincent's past, but about why he has Chaos, and what exactly is Omega WEAPON....
