Welcome to the Dollhouse?

It's an old one from the mid-90's about an awkward girl that is severely alienated and abused by every one around her and she does not understand why. I could really relate to the character even though shes like 13.

Any one know it? If not, I recommend it, but don't expect a feel good friday fun flick, expect something the complete opposite...it's very disturbing as well.

I have seen that one. It's among the nearly 800 titles in my collection.

I've seen this one... it was painful to watch. I know intellectually it's a good movie, but my gut-level reaction to it was unequivocally negative because it reminded me so much of how I felt as a child and I hated the feeling that I was watching myself, especially since I could also see what she was doing "wrong" and how she appeared to others. I basically cringed through the whole movie. It's like the feel-bad version of Napoleon Dynamite.
