Is it just me or has this not been a good year for film so far?

10 Cloverfield Lane was excellent, and I do love a bit of Goodman. Contrary to all the social media critics, I thought Batman Vs Superman was good. And I'm very much looking forward to Rogue One.

I don't think this year's crop of movies is any better or worse than most years. I enjoyed Batman V Superman, Captain America: Civil War, and others so far.

My favourite films of this year are The Witch, Deadpool, and 10 Cloverfield Lane. Have yet to watch Zootopia.

I am looking forward to Birth of A Nation.

I saw Kubo And The Two Strings a couple weeks ago and I LOVED it. Definitely the best movie to come out of Laika, which is saying a lot with the great movies they've done in the past.

I thought the Angry Birds Movie was great! But there is no real surprise there.
I also saw Sausage Party and Bad Moms- did not enjoy either of those.

My favorite is The Martian. That movie is perfect.

In No Particular Order:

Zootopia {IMO, it had a quirky, likeable Looney Tunes-ish vibe to it.}

The Jungle Book {Perfect direction by Jon Favreau.}

Kubo and the Two Strings {I cried at the end.}

Bad Moms {I am definitely buying my mom a copy of the DVD when it is released. :lol: }

The Witch {I thought it was boring at first, but I realized that the boredom was a slow build-up to the scares.}

Finding Dory {Another great film by PIXAR!}

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising {Just as hilarious as the first movie.}

Star Trek Beyond {IMO, I think more humor made the movie enjoyable to watch.}

Yet To Watch:

Deadpool

10 Cloverfield Lane

The Conjuring 2

Now You See Me 2

Warcraft

Jason Bourne

Sausage Party

Hell Or High Water

Looking Forward To Seeing:

Sully

The Magnificent Seven

Birth Of A Nation

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Doctor Strange

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

La La Land

Rogue One

Sing
