Has the Transformers Prime series ended?

I'd just recently watched the Predacons Rising movie and while it was a good movie and I guess a good ending to the series in general it wasn't as good as I thought it was. Maybe I'm wrong because usually when I watch a movie or tv episode for a second viewing I end up liking it more. SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SHOW OR MOVIE We don't see much of Optimus Prime, the battle between him and Unicron doesn't last very long and he was probably defeated too easily and I don't know if I like the fact that Megatron just gives up. I mean there is a reason to give up of course but I don't know. He's still evil I guess. Also why would the Autobots just let him fly off. I mean doesn't he have to pay for his crimes even if he does give up. Maybe I'm wrong and missing something or maybe I'm just nitpicking. Overall the movie is pretty good and the series itself is a personal favourite. It's one of my favourite shows and probably the best TF show since Beast Wars. Granted BW is still my favourite I guess TFP would be my second favourite TF series. Yeah I know a lot of die hard fans out there would choose the G1 series and yes I like that show and the movie to (which I have on DVD), but BW and TFP had a lot more character development and complex story telling where as G1 was just an old 80's cartoon with klunky dialogue and a lot of animation mistakes and I guess that's I why I enjoyed it so much. The question remains however is has Transformers Prime ended? because I read somewhere (maybe they were rumours) that there were suppose to be plans for another Transformers series and that it would be set in the Prime universe and that it would be a continuation. I guess it could be like how the original animated movie from 1986 and the 3rd season continued years ahead of the first 2 seasons or how Avatar The Legend of Korra is a sequel series to The Last Airbender. Maybe Rodimus Prime will lead the Autobots now that Optimus is gone. Maybe the Predacons will be the new villains or Megatron may come back and rename himself Galvatron.
