I wanna see it, and I need opinions.

my dad said it was good.

but I need others opinions.

I thought it was OK. **1/2/****. Great subject for a film, but disappointing.

ADDENDUM:

Positives: Strong performances all around by the actors involved. I liked the sets/locations, and the cinematography. The directing was competent enough.
Negatives: Dialogue was not formal enough for a early 19th century setting, and in general seemed too modern. Weak script. The film's chronology, in my opinion, was awkwardly put together. Some historical errors.

I thought it was wonderfully made. Loved the story and I felt that it was portrayed very well in the movie. I loved it.
