That's one of my favorites.

It had such an excellent cast, and was smart and quirky. I didn't mind the fact that it only lasted two seasons. Too many shows drone on far too long, even if they had excellent starts. (Bones comes to mind).
definitely agreed on that-some producers never know when to kill it off [simpsons anyone?].
its just DLM ended without a proper ending, as far as the viewer of season two ending is concerned there is going to be another series.

the network coud have at least funded an ending as the last episode started focusing on 'rube' if remember rightly but never got to show the 'death'.
had read that the 2009 DLM straight to dvd film was the make or break for bringing the series back; the film is shoddy [though DLM diehards woud love it] which is why the plans got shelved.
hi wozeree!
was the woman supposed to be playing one of the reapers or one of those who gets reaped? trying to remember which episode this was.
yes it is a low, morbid show and they went overboard sometimes like killing off some popular actors such as the animals [eg, JD the dog who is shown getting run over, murray the cat who is shown getting euthanised and the pet toad JF who is seemingly abandoned into the wild plus the young boy reaper who only goes around reaping animals],'rube' got killed off for the film so he was never in it etc.
it was depressive but had some very funny dark adult humour underneath.
totaly agreed charcoalsketches, the reaper idea is nice to think of,imagine if death is really is like that,a reaper comes along just before are about to die, they do their thing and are taken straight out of body upon death, had always wondered why the show never showed the actors being investigated for murder though as they were present at every death.
as for ellen muth, the support staff of mine whose become obsessed with DLM said that ellen has become a pro racing driver, am taking that to mean nascar but coud be wrong as havent got a clue about racing stuff.
woud honestly encourage everyone to aquire season one and season two of DLM, well worth it,cant believe it was never on mainstream tv in the UK,most people here missed out big time in own view.
