This asks, "What kind of fictional TV/movie characters, do you feel you would best get along with and the type that would always have your back?"

It's either Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson, or Anchorman's news team of Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Champ Kind and Brick Tamland. The latter four guys because they are the kind of news people I'd like to trust. They'd even have my back in good times and bad. :)

For me, it's the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast, specifically Willow, Xander, Buffy, and Oz. I probably wouldn't get along with Cordy. When I was in secondary school, me and my friends were, personality-wise, pretty much mixes of Willow and Xander to some extent or the other. A bit geeky, a bit nerdy. And certainly the school's misfits. So that's why I liked that Buffy didn't star the more popular kids, but instead focus on the geeks, and the popular kids that did show up were sure vampire bait. :P

I identify with somewhere between Amy and Sheldon on the big bang theory and Bones if instead of being scientists they had just managed to make it in the world and had not had opportunities to take advantage of their intelligences. I like my friends to be like the other members of the cast of The Big Bang Theory, nerdy, goofy, really, really smart, and unconventionally happy. But with less bickering and drama.

I also know some care bears and ninja turtles. And I have a few friends who are sort of the cast of Clerks.

Probably Brian from Family Guy. He and I could sit around drinking and discuss liberal politics and literature - both of others, and our own - and not judge one another for not holding down "regular jobs."

The Seinfeld gang would also appreciate my company. :D

I had to chew on this question for awhile. I would probably have the best time hanging with Daria, Jane and Tom from Daria. I loved that show, and I've got the same cynical, sadistic sense of humor that those three did. Did anyone else watch it?

@equestriatola The Seinfeld crew would be my second choice.

The crew of Voyager, and I reckon I'd fit in well as the Emergency Medical Hologram except that I have slightly more hair.

I will name some fictional places I would choose to live in instead.

Bill and Ted's future society.- Seems like a nice place to live with the end of war and poverty, and people being kind to each other and whatnot.

The music store in High Fidelity.- Full of aspies who talk about music all day.

The mining ship Red Dwarf.- It is big and sparsely populated, yet exciting, with ample resources for undertaking various projects.

Hobbiton (assuming I am a Hobbit).- I like their easygoing agrarian lifestyle, and round underground housing.

Places I would live in Westeros, in order of preference:

1--Dorn
2--With the Cranogmen in the Swamps of the Neck.
3--With the Wildling's beyond the wall.

Abed from Community. I just love movies so much, so I think we would get along pretty well. I actually get told I'm like him a lot!

I definitely find that I can relate to Sheldon and Bones as well

With the crew of the Enterprise. I mean, the TOS crew had Spock and the TNG crew had Data (and I'm convinced Geordi LaForge was on the spectrum too), so they were already experienced with people like me.

Plus I'd like to live in the Trek future. It seems like a really nice place.

I'll have to say that I relate to the cast of The Big Bang Theory the best. I can also relate to Sue and Brick Heck from The Middle, as well as Lisa Simpson.

SOS Brigade, or Hidamari Apartments (but I'd need to be a girl), or Top Gear UK.

ETA: They may seem totally different to you, but...!
