LOVED the FILM!! !! My little sister bought the soundtrack and I put it on my Mac. :-) Agree with IGN's review as good as the 90's greats Beauty and the Beast/Aladdin/Lion King they also mention the soundtrack being as good as Lion King. I feel this is PURE broadway material!! !! If Disney doesn't just forget this series! Anna and Elsa are AWESOME Princess'! !! ! Not like the "true love ones!! !" Real to life type people. LOVED the FILM!! !! ! Buying it on Blu-Ray ASAP when it's released! LOVED IT!

Due to Disney's Dreamworks-style marketing (advertising comedy over the actual story), I'm going to wait for the DVD.

Waitng for the DVD due to the fact that I'm the only person in my family who still likes animated movies (in other words, nobody will take me).

That being said, I am very much looking forward to it, and I hope the critics are right when they call it "the next Lion King".

I took my 5 year old daughter to it over the weekend. I thought it was pretty good overall. Here's some comments I have about it...

- The two princesses Ana and Ilsa were great, no real complaints there. Really solid voice acting there, and they had enough character to feel like fairly complex characters (for a kid's film at least).
- The snowman Olaf was really well done too, no complaints about him.
- I felt like the voice actor for Kristoff wasn't as good as he could have been. I think the character was written alright, but the voice actor didn't have as much punch as the others, and left the character feeling kind of flat at times.
- Alternatively, I really like the voice actor for Hans, I thought he did a superb job. But I thought the writing was a bit thin for him, especially at the end, and similarly left him feeling a bit flat overall.
- The storyline, while imaginative and interesting, felt went a bit too much off in different directions at times. The plot events felt sort of unfocused and random at times. I felt this same thing with Disney's Brave as well, so it seems like a general style issue with the way they're writing their movies these days. Personally I think the more focused plotlines of the earlier Disney stuff worked better, so I sort of wish they'd go back to that.

Overall, despite the few gripes above, I liked it and thought it was pretty well done overall. The strongest aspect was definitely Ana and Ilsa, who were both just really well written and fantastically voice acted.

I just did, and let me be frank: It's a great and sweet story. Elsa and Anna are both cute and beautiful in their own rights, and if they were real, I'd hug them. :)

Olaf I felt made the movie a bit better; without him, it woulda been rather bland.

i just saw it yesterday and i really really liked it :D i was a bit skeptical towards it at first because the trailers didn't portray it too well... but it turned out to be really good! i loved the songs, especially "do you wanna build a snow man" and "let it go".

i also like that disney seem to be making more movies that focus on the love between family and friends, rather than just romantic love (which i think is overrated anyway).

Yes :D I saw it and now it's one of my favorite Disney movies ever. I'm going to discuss the movie a bit, so there will be spoilers.

I really love Elsa. Like, a lot. I think a lot of people here could identify with her in a way.
She was born with her ice powers, and she can't change that. But then the accident with Ana happened, and then her parents became afraid of her. They became afraid of her, and told her to "conceal, don't feel". She began hating herself for who she was, and hid herself away because she was afraid she would hurt people.

When she retreated to the mountain after the accident at the party, she sang Let It Go, which I thought was going to be a sad song about Elsa turning bitter, but it wasn't. It was such a beautiful song about being able to let go and not live in fear anymore. It was about being free and finally being allowed to be yourself.

I feel like, in a way, it mirrors children who have a talent or ability, or a different state of mind like ASD, and they were held back and restrained by their parents because their parents were afraid of them being different. I dunno, does that make sense?

I just love Elsa as a whole and I see a lot of myself in her, though my family never really held me back. I think a lot of people on this website will like her, too.

/cartoon feelings rant over

Question to everyone: What if you met both Elsa and Anna?

My answer: I'd hug them both. I'd tell them about what I like, and we'd have fun times together. :)

It made cry due to the fact there was too much romance against the girl and Kristof. I'm not buying it when it comes out on DVD. It made me think too much of me not being in a bf/gf relationship.

I thought it was really good. The characters were fun, the story was overall good and most of the songs were pretty memorable, but I have to admit while in some of the reviews it's been considered as good as something like Beauty and the Beast I don't think it's quite there. I mean there are Disney movies that are just good like Sleeping Beauty or The Little Mermaid and then there are the ones that are considered masterpieces like Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King. I think maybe Frozen is somewhere between both or maybe I just need to see it again to find out what it really is because sometimes I need to give films more than one viewing to be sure.

Lemme ask you people a Q: What would you do if you both met Elsa and Anna if they were real (and try to keep it spoiler-free, if you can)?
