What did you think of the last episode? I thought Jack's tattoo story was relatively intriguing, although it seemed unrelated to the Lost mythos... I wonder if more will develop from that...

And the captives watching Jack in the outdoor cage, very peculiar; brainwashed? And who's this chinese speaking old white lady who randomly shows up to play judge? We've already established that the others have contact with the real world, but I'm starting to wonder if they really can leave or if their knowledge of the real world is based on the same time distortion Desmond explained in last week's episode...

Thoughts?

my memory is a little hazy about the ending - there was mysterious talk netween jack & juliette about 'home', they were talking about the leaders promise to let her leave & then their pictured together on an ocean-going boat?

Not a patch on last weeks episode with the desmond 'flashbacks' imo, but enjoyable none the less.

Wasn't the Chinese speaking old white lady the same woman who was in the Desmond flashback episode from last week? The one he meet in the jewelry shop that started talking to him in riddles and took him for a walk. I thought it was the same lady she just had her hair styled a little different.

Everytime I think I have figured it out they throw in some curve ball and mess up my theory. I don't like the previews for next week where they are suppose to take Jack someplace else than the islands. Of course my first thought was to another planet, dimension or into the Bermunda Triangle. There was a reference to location in a recent episode that is close to where the Triangle supposedly is located.

I didn't care about the whole tattoo story. I thought that the old lady was from Desmond's flashback too, though I could be wrong. Faces often look similar to me.

I didn't particularly like it, especially since it was billed as: THREE OF LOST"S GREATEST MYSTERIES- SOLVED!! !! !! !". In addition to being overblown, the episode itself wasn't very good, with little character development (yes, Jack is arrogant and impulsive, what else is new?). The attempts to link the three romances felt forced and weak and, in the end the episode just never came together.
