Does anyone else feels this way about Bleach (anime)

Yeah it has thrilling enrapturing fight scenes with packs of action, and cool looking swords and cool moves, but..... that's sorta it. As an anime it lacks deep themes, complex elaborate plot and is just fighting which lacks cohesion to any facet of the story. Naruto incorporates a myriad of symbolism which are intricately synthesized to construct a pretty elaborate story. One Piece, albeit funny looking and childish, has an actual story and its own deep themes and complex plot. Monster, FMA, death note are the same.

bleach is good superficially, but it lacks any deeper layers that characterize a great anime/story. aizen is a terrible villain. i mean, he's just the typical cliche just as planned chess player with ridiculous OP powers villain. ichigo typical spoon fed protagonist that fights and just has badass weapons. the most i can say is that bleach>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>fairy tail

I completely understand what your saying. I love the fights in bleach, however the story lacks luster in comparison. After awhile I just stopping watching the series.
