I had had my eye on this DVD for a week as the cover and the subject matter looked interesting...and Terry Gilliam is generally a very imaginative movie maker. However, I found the subject matter very difficult and uncomfortable, even perverse to watch. I consider myself to be pretty open minded, and capable of losing myself in childlike films or very imaginative films, but I just found this went beyond the mark for me and was too strange and too controversial in many senses... even sick. I mean, for a little girl to be putting peanut butter in her dead father's mouth, and to be making his heroin mixture and handing him the needle, and even later on, to be interracting with her now leatherised dead father... if you like sick movies, then be sure to see this one, lol. Selling my copy as soon as I can.
