This may sound absolutely ridiculous but I guess I'm just having a bad day. I love the Nostalgia Critic but I feel very disturbed by this video. I not saying he isn't entitled to his own opinion and I'm not saying the Transformers movies are even that good. I mean I do actually enjoy them and I do really understand why people hate them and I wanna see the new one. But I thought everyone was entitled to their own opinion, at least that's what he's said numerous times. I get the feeling that he's calling people who go to see these movies idiots. I mean I'm no intellectual but while I do like movies that have story, character development and other stuff that the Transformers don't have, sometimes I just wanna turn my brain off and watch really enjoyable nonsense, case in point the TF movies. But is it really fair to call someone who would pay money to see these movies an idiot or stupid or ret*d. I mean their not gonna go broke for doing that.

What do you expect ?? Every review I have read said this movie plumbs new depths of idiocy. Even fan-boy sites hate it.

Well you should never apologise for the stupid movies you enjoy, but I don't understand the success of these movies. They're terrible.

This is how you make action sci fi.

He's just saying he doesn't like the movies, that doesn't mean you can't. I'm sure he knows that intelligent people sometimes enjoy a "brainless" movie, he's just generalizing. He wasn't insulting you personally.

I like Beavis and Butthead. It knows it's inane, and doesn't try to portray itself as being otherwise.

Same with Jerry Springer (especially after the first couple of seasons, when it was trying to be a serious talk show and not succeeding at it).

I agree with him. Every Transformer movie is exactly the same thing. All "action" movies are exactly the same

With that super general statement, Transformers, Terminator, Rush Hour, Taken, Spy Hunter, The Rundown, and 300 are all the same movie.

Dude, you just named two of my favorite movies of all time. Add the entire Terminator series to that list, and you've got something awesome. 8)

I'll confess though, I still haven't watched the original Terminator in its entirety. I've been meaning to do it one of these days.

Also, Starship Troopers is FAR from stupid. It's actually a sly parody of military recruitment films. So much so, that a lot of people thought it WAS a recruitment film. :P
