I liked the iPhone ad. Does that count? Actually, I stopped watching the Oscars a long time ago since it just seemed like a bunch of self-congratulatory people treating themselves to $10,000 gift baskets and luxory treatments and very expensive clothes who then get a hunk of metal, thank everyone in the world for helping get them where they are today, and then the next day you hear these VERY WEALTHY people talking about "corporate greed" and poverty. Just doesn't sit well with me. So I ignore them. It keeps me sane.

That being said, who won what? Did Scorcese get his Oscar for that horrible movie? I did like The Queen, so that's good she won.

I know most people don't really care about the oscars, but i do. It is probably the most exciting thing that i really look forward to every year. I've always been in love with movies and the history of them. I guess, i started to really care, when my mom decided to get people over to have a party. It was something that I was looking forward to.

To answer your question: Scorsese did win finally for The Departed. And yes, the Departed won best picture. I actually liked that movie, even for someone like me who doesn't like that kind of movie, sort of mafia, crime movie. I don't usually like them, but I actually liked that one.
