Although I enjoy this series, I acknowledge that it's probably not a positive thing to watch people getting mutilated week after week.\

What I would really like to see is a new Star Trek.

Agreed. Still, it is one of the better zombie series/franchises I have seen.

Season 5 premires on October 12th.

I'm still waiting for Season 4 to come in for me at the Library so I can watch it.

Season 4 is being released this month to home video. The 26th, to be exact.

Well, I love TWD, and I think that, at its best, it is an interesting study in survival ethics.

As for a new Star Trek series, I'd like to see a continuation of DS9, but I'm not holding my breath.

The Walking Dead is one of my favorite TV shows. Probably because it boils the dynamics of humanity down to its core concerns. 1) Finding water and food 2) Finding shelter 3) Not being eaten by wild animals (in this case, zombies) and 4) Not letting those other tribes steal your stuff or kill the members of your own tribe. :D

I read a rumor on the internet that Daryl might "come out of the closet." Seriously.
If Daryl is gay, I have to think he had hidden it from his brother Meryl, as Meryl hardly seemed the most gay friendly person around.

Rick's current right hand man in the comics, Jesus, is gay.

That fact was in the same article.

^^^ Yeah..... He was in several issues, established as a hero and badass type.... Then, when they finally get back to the Hilltop settlement a dude comes up and kisses him. It was treated as a total nonevent.

If Daryl turns out to be gay, I hope they don't make a huge deal of it...

Next time on a VERY SPECIAL The Walking Dead...

I thought he was with Carol. I don't think Daryl being gay will exactly gel with much of this shows audience, and I would like to see the show troll those guys.

The Walking Dead is an awesome series! The second last episode of season 4 has just been aired here, and I'm already hungry for season 5.

I haven't read the comic.

I love The Walking Dead. I got my Sister watching this show, and she never seen a zombie movie/show before. She loves it!
Season 5 looks interesting. I'm stoked!
