I've run into a problem with a guy I used to live with wanting to transfer video playing on his Android Phone being captured on my Mac mini under mavericks.
Before anyone even says it, yes I know about the Android transfer utility for the Mac. I was able to transfer all the photos and 2 of his videos onto his account on my Mac mini. Unfortunately, I have not been able grab any of his other videos. When I try to play some of the other videos on his android phone, I am coming up with internal file errors, as well as out of storage errors. When I try to explain to him he's got problems with these videos, he tells me I'm full of bullsh*t. He is telling me to play the video on his phone, and capture it on my Mac. He will not listen to me on any other alternatives. He's accusing me of screwing up his phone when he tries to log onto Google from chrome. I did change his password, as I could not get at the videos that looked like they were being saved to his google drive account. (They weren't, as I found out later). I gave him the new password, which I changed the case of the first letter of his previous password. He is still unable to login, no matter how many times I explain it to him. I also enabled wifi on his phone, and entered my router's password, so I didn't have to attach the data cable from his phone to my Mac. I couldn't get it to sync, so I ended up using the cable anyway.
Is there any way I can do a dub from the videos playing on his android and capture the output to be saved on my Mac?
Frankly, if he would have bought a iphone in the first place, I wouldn't have this problem.
