Who here likes Adventure Time? The post apocalyptic setting and Simon&Marceline's backstory are really amazing

I like LSP and Lemongrab.

Lol LSP rocks, and Lemongrab is one of the most interesting characters in the show

i don't really watch the show but from what i've seen i like marceline. she's cute and interesting. a friend of mine did a cosplay of her for LA's Anime Expo two summers ago.

Marceline rocks, I like her because I play guitar, and would like to learn bass like her character plays I want a Ukelele too though, they sound amazing

the friend that cosplayed her also plays a bit of ukelele.

It's 4 strings and electrical in nature, and I think Finn says "move the bass down" when she's holding it at an elevation he thinks makes her look like a nerd. I play acoustic and electrical guitars myself, but never owned anything 4 stringed sadly. What type of Ukelele does she play?

it's been 4 months since i've said a word to her so i'm not sure, i but i'm pretty sure it's just a regular soprano ukulele.

Soprano and sopranini are both amazing and I very much intend to own both varieties at some point

My nine year old daughter absolutely adores Adventure Time, so needless to say, I see it quite a bit. And I must say, I tend to feel quite a bit sympathy for the Ice King, as his underlying motivation seems to be loneliness and a need to be loved, even though he lashes out violently and deceitfully at the lead characters.

I adore Adventure Time! I think Bubblegum is my favourite, and Simon and Marceline have the best backstory ever. And I kind of headcanon Flame Princess as an aspie.

I love the show's surreal story lines and I think Marceline is my favourite character. One of my favourite episodes was when the Ice King has the give up kidnapping princesses if he wanted to marry one, so Finn and Jake convince him to embrace commitment. Another one was when some monster took the characters' belongings and they had to solve the problem by singing. When they sing, the doors will brighten up and open. I'm a fan of fantasy related media, as long as I'm not into some supernatural thing. The candy kingdom and other kingdoms fascinate me, as I grew up reading or watching Alice in Wonderland, The Narnia series (though not all of it) and at one point, Harry Potter but I didn't seem to like it for some reason, basically I never like the Harry Potter series compare to other fantasy tales.

Adventure Time seems to give me the feeling of nostalgia, reminding me of the kind of movies of tv shows I watched some time ago.

I love Adventure Time. Princess Bubblegum is my favorite character. She's such a cute, creepy little scientist princess.

marceline herself would be really cute if she had more human proportions.
