I'm thinking "Gone Girl" will win "Best Picture", and "Best Adapted Screenplay".

I hope Emma Thompson or Keira Knightley will win. (I can't help it, I have a severe weakness for Brits----besides, I think both of these women are BRILLIANT in anything they do!)

Anytime Meryl Streep is up for an Oscar, I hope she wins 'cause I want her to beat Katherine Hepburn's record of 4 wins.

I think Juaquin Phoenix should win 'cause he was sooooo robbed from a win for "Walk the Line".

I also want John Goodman to win because I think he is one of thee MOST under-appreciated actors!

I predict that the least qualified movie will win Best Picture like always. :)

I'm pretty sure Unbroken and Gone Girl will be the two that steal all of the wins this year. Meryl Streep has been nominated eighteen times. I think they just nominate her pretty much any time she's in a movie, so predictable.

I really want Boyhood to win. It was fantastic. I'm also pulling for Interstellar, Inherent Vice, and the Theory of Everything, even though I haven't seen them yet.

I really hope it won't get snubbed because it came out so early in the year, same for Grand Budapest. Before Midnight didn't even get a nod last year and Moonrise Kingdom in 2012 was only nominated for best original screenplay. So unfair.

Richard Linklater deserves an Oscar. IMO, this could be his year for a win.

@ Russian K12: I'm hoping Boyhood for this year won't end up how The Butler did for last year; completely shut out, even though The Butler didn't stand a chance
against 12 Years A Slave.
