The latest episode devoted a lot of attention to both Max and Hank.

If you go on most forums you'll encounter a great deal of animosity expressed towards the Max character. Not so much against Hank, but I found that my heart went out to both characters as I knew exactly what they were experiencing.

Although in Max's case, what is not true to my experience is having been acknowledged to have a disability and to have one's behavior viewed in that light.

There has also been a great deal of criticism directed at the Christina character. I honestly don't know what I would do in her situation. You could say her good deeds are going duly punished.

I recommend seeing this episode and am curious how other forum members react.

I am watching it right now. It's the one where Max wanted a kid expelled right?

I thought Max had normal feelings about rejection but he didn't seem to understand that rejections are part of life and happen to everyone and not everyone is going to like him that way and Christina had explained that to him at the end. Even though expressing your love for someone is supposed to be done in private, not in front of people, Christina still told him how proud she is of him because he had expressed himself well about his feelings how he felt about her.

I thought Max acted like a bully towards the kid his "girlfriend" was kissing but I think it was a misunderstanding. He thought she was his girlfriend so he thought the kid was being a jerk by kissing her so he wanted him expelled for it and that he was a menace. I honestly thought Max should be in more trouble because he did start the mess because that is what normally would happen but Christina understood and did go easy on him.

I also thought Hank handled it well when his teen daughter threw a party but took it personal when she said she hated him and I thought "Normal teen stuff" that is how they act when they don't get their way. He got tough and did his job as a parent than being her friend.
