Anyone seen Phoebe in Wonderland?
Has anyone seen this drama-type movie? I brought it a few weeks ago and have watched it 2 or 3 times, and could watch again, so I must really enjoy this film.
For those that have seen it, do you understand it? Despite being an interesting and enjoyable film, I found I didn't understand it fully. The girl Phoebe actually had Tourrette's Syndrome, but what does that have to do with her being so obsessed with Alice in wonderland? Also she appears to have severe OCD to the point where she hurts herself. Also she seems very sensitive, and takes things the wrong way which suddenly makes her run off and hide out on the school roof.
When I first saw this film, I thought she had Schitzophrenia or something.
And I don't understand the ending. It was very abrupt, and left me wanting to see and find out more. Does anyone have a good explanation theory about this movie? I looked it up on google but it didn't say a lot about it.

Just read the synopsis on Wikipedia...going to see if I can find it online somewhere.
It looks like the theme may be "facing reality" and the consequences that can arise if you don't...both for her parents and for her. (Again, hard to tell from a synopsis.)
