Some Hello Kitty merchandise was basically cross-promotion with other franchises like Street Fighter, KISS, or Sonic the Hedgehog. Would anyone else like to discuss strange Hello Kitty crossover products that they read about online?

Internet Rule 34: If an object can be conjectured, then there is porn made of it. If not, then porn will be made of it as soon as someone hears what you are looking for.

Don't go there.

I'd like to see Hello Kitty fashioned after The Beatles. That would be cool. 8)

A friend of mine was doing some product photography of Hello Kitty items. While not part of the product line that needed photographing, the client, as a joke, brought in a Hello Kitty Dildo that she had found. This just goes to support Fnord's statement.

One time last year around Halloween on Facebook I saw a Hello Kitty version of "The Scream" painting. I posted "Kitty has no mouth, and she must scream!"
I've seen those KISS versions of Hello Kitty figures in dollar stores. They were kind of cool, actually. I'd like to see the Sonic the Hedgehog ones. :)
One time on The Toy Channel Mike Mozart reviewed plush toys of Hello Kitty - as sushi. With chopsticks so you could pretend to eat raw fish with Hello Kitty's disembodied head gazing adorably up at you. 8O

I wish my cartoons were so famous they could be made to resemble anything else and still be recognized (except maybe as toy sushi).

I went to Staples just last week and saw a toaster shaped like Hello Kitty that makes toast with her face on it.
