...set on Earth One?

For anybody who's seen the latest episode and is familiar with the comic Batman: Earth One, has to recognize the similarities--specifically, Alfred.

We finally got the "ass kicking Alfred" we were promised, and he seems very familiar!



The producers have said that they think Gotham is in its own universe, apart from the other DC TV shows and the movies. However, DC is also known for it HEAVY use of the multi-verse model and they ALWAYS find ways to bring those 'verses together--such as with, say.... The Flash and his physics warping super speed-force.

It's interesting that Geoff Johns, senior creative officer for DC Comics, is also a writer/produce on The Flash... On that show, they're already teasing time travel and foreshadowing that the Flash will disappear in "The Crisis of 2024."

I think there's a good chance that all DC's TV and movie stuff could turn out to be linked, even if it's spread out over 2 or 3 'universes'.... IF things go well and they decide to go that way.

Whatever the case, I think Gotham is finally finding it's feet. It might turn out to be a good show after all.
