He doesn't get eaten, he almost gets crushed and is pulled out instead.
Obviously the Discovery Channel trying to get more views. If he was really eaten he wouldn't be alive to give an interview because his bones would have been crushed and I am not sure how he would have gotten out the other end.

Doh!, I thought he was going to get completely eaten with maybe just his feet sticking out so they can pull him out afterwards. Snake doesn't get past his ears! TV science is so full of deceipt.

This sounds like animal cruelty to me. And it serves no purpose other than sensationalism, because we already know how snakes look on the inside and how they digest food.
