Take Shelter - Fairly decent acting, kinda slowish film. I was let down by the ending.

^ I've always enjoyed the Jim Jarmusch films I've seen. I think this one might grow on me but at the moment I guess I'm ambivalent.

A Dog's Journey

wonderful, sad, funny, beautiful, heartfelt, moving

every bit as much of a gem as A Dog's Purpose

I'm still in my crime thriller/drama foreign film mood, so the recent flicks I've seen were:
Elle (French)
Forgotten (So. Korea)
The Ghost Writer (British) with Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor
The Guilty (Danish) - a film set mostly in one room and featuring mostly one actor mostly always on the phone.
The Purity of Vengeance (Danish) - the third and final part of the Department Q Trilogy
The Unknown Girl (French)

What are your opinions?

I watched this with my NT sister and we both liked it very much!

We also agreed that people who gave this a bad reception should have given thought beforehand that they should not have held their standards very highly regarding this film because it's a giant monster movie, so in turn one cannot expect perfection from a giant monster movie.

Like many, my NT sister and I are looking forward to seeing Godzilla VS Kong when it is released
later this year on November 20th.

I agree, on all counts.

"Bohemian Rhapsody"
The concert recreations make the movie worth seeing, otherwise, the film is formula Hollywood.
---- General overview of plot ------
Nobody gets the lead character's talent at first, character proves them wrong, character gets full of themselves does too much drugs, gets in with bad influences at the expense of friends, character sees the light and after initial reluctance before everybody gets back together.
---- Controversy ----
The portrayal of Mercury's bisexuality and battle with Aids is controversial. I am not going to opine about the accuracy of the portrayal since I did not know him and as a straight I am not going to opine about what was an accurate portrayal and what was an offensive portrayal. Besides this is not PPR. You want to know about them google it. Biographical films are not documentaries. You can deal with them just as a movie, or if you are curious do post film research.

The Patriot
Flawed, historically inaccurate but I enjoy it.
