Utterly tedious.

And very worthy of its status as a cult film.

Curse Of The Mummy.

1943 schlocky Universal horror movie where the mummy is brought back to life... again... to bring the Egyptian princess he had once loved back home. Starring Lon Chaney Jr, and John Carradine.

The Blancheville Monster

A fairly second-rate Italian-made horror film from 1963. Apparently loosely based on an Edgar Alan Poe story, and it does feature that familiar Poe trope of someone being buried alive (did he have any other plots apart from this?). Anyway, the story, acting and dialogue are largely pretty lame, and it took some getting through. Interestingly though, the actors who play two of the leading characters bear a startling resemblance to Vincent Price and Barbara Steele, who both featured prominently in better movies of this sort during the 1960s.

Although I wasn't that impressed with the movie, it has - in my opinion - one the best scenes Robin Williams ever made:

Emma (2020)

Little Women (2019)

Emma was my favorite out of the three.

Minnie Driver is lovely. The rest of the cast is also good. Location is beautiful (Ireland). Good story.

Watched 'Knives Out' yesterday for my birthday (I've seen it a few times but it shot up to my top 5 list for favorite movies so it added some happiness to my day)
