Um. Well now. Just finished. Definitely weird, but to the point I got bored of it. I think the white clothes, sunlight, and agoraphobia bothered me more than anything else. I must be tough-skinned. Only one visual image creeped me out in the whole thing. I liked Hereditary better.

Midsommer is not for everyone. I saw it in theatre and a number of people walked out.

Very good film about a bus driver going about his days work.

Last night we watched Baby Driver [2017]
Tagline: "All you need is one killer track."

We enjoyed it. It is not the kind of film I would normally seek out but when I learned about its use of music I thought it might be worth our time--it was. By the way, its use of music is excellent!

Yeah, I just found it monotonous. Sure it was weird, but not to the point of scaring me. It's not like I'm going to accidentally join a commune in Sweden or take mushrooms by mistake. I don't even understand what was so bad about the boyfriend character. If a relationship like that is your worst problem in life, you're lucky.

Time for The Breakfast Club.

I've never been able to stream it for some reason. I found it on DVD in a charity shop the other day.

I can't wait -- Ally is my spirit character.

Rubber.

Horror/satire where a sentient tire goes on a murder spree. Maybe one of the most insane movies I've ever seen!

I think I might enjoy a film like that today.

I think Rubber might be the strangest movie in our collection. (But I do like it!)

Charlie Kaufman's 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things'

It was bizarre and unsettling yet somehow enjoyable. It is disjointed until the very end.
