I have a terrible attention span, but forced myself to sit through "A Clockwork Orange", and "A Scanner Darkly". Then I downloaded all four seasons of "Rick and Morty" to see what the fuss was all about...and was blown away.

"Summer? Where are my testicles?" LOL

Vilarium.

A young couple looking for a new home are brought to a housing project with identical homes by a very odd man. Soon, they discover they can't find their way out of the neighborhood, which in fact stretches as far as the eye can see. Someone brings them food, and then a baby, with directions to raise the child. The couple are soon despising the child that grows exponentially, and seems to lack emotions. The child, who clearly is not really human, bears a striking resemblance to the agent who brought them to the house. The couple are just one of many men and women who are raising alien children given to them by a parasitic race that leaves the host parents dead in the end.
Very chilling psychological horror/scifi movie.

Ted (played by Joaquin Phoenix) is a man with Aspie-ish traits to him who makes a living writing letters for other people. He feels alone and depressed citing the divorce from his childhood girlfriend Catherine (played by Rooney Mara) as the factor.

One day, Ted receives a new AI system embodied by a female voice named Samantha (voiced by Scarlett Johannason) who at first helps Ted recover from the divorce by becoming his BFF, but later their relationship becomes something more than just platonic.

Spike Jones (Being John Malkovich) wrote and directed Her and won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Olivia Wilde and Amy Adams co-star. Overall, a brilliant movie.
