And depressing...it reminded me too much of the days when I still worked. I am so glad I am retired!
When it was recently mentioned in this thread I incorrectly assumed it was some new movie I had not heard of. WRONG! It turns out is an old movie I had not heard of! My bride got us a copy because her sister had recommended it.

I do want to see it.
My NT sister rented a copy & we watched it the other night with our mom.
Good, campy fun with Tom Hardy trading wits with not only himself (for the majority of the 90-minute runtime), but also with Woody Harrellson as Carnage!

Dagon (2001)
A good adaptation of A Shadow over Innsmouth, I quite enjoyed it.
Aside from the fact that they were chanting to Cthulhu instead of Dagon

Cthulhu is also another good reimagining of The Shadow Over Innsmouth, though the setting is switched to the Pacific Northwest in the near future.

Robert downey jr is fun in this.
It is easy to find speculation on the Internet that Sherlock Holmes, as written and as usually portrayed, seems consistent with someone on the Spectrum. (For instance, this article.) When my bride and I discussed this, though, we felt Downey's Holmes more resembled ADHD.
Besides noting that Sherlock Holmes was fictional and obviously does not have a formal diagnosis—and that it seems unlikely Dr. Bell ever had a formal diagnosis as well—does anyone else have thoughts on this?
P.S. Whatever diagnosis Sherlock Holmes usually resembles, I like him. And whatever diagnosis Downey's Holmes resembles, I enjoy those movies and look forward to Sherlock Holmes 3!
