Entity.

A British TV crew along with a psychic follows a Russian guide to a remote, wooded area where multiple graves had been discovered, along with a long forgotten facility where terrible things had once happened. Unknown to them, their guide has an ulterior motive.
Good horror film.

I remember renting these videos back in the day. My dad met Don Cherry once and had a signed picture with him. He signed it from him and Blue his dog. I loved Blue.

Last night I watched:

The Wolf Man [1941]
<=>"In many a distant village, there exists the Legend of the Werewolf or Wolf Man,
<=>*WOLF!!*a legend of a strange mortal man with the hair and fangs of an unearthly beast...
<=>*WOLF!!*WOLF!!*his hideous howl, a dirge of death!"

If you enjoy vintage horror flicks then: wuf RECOMMENDED wuf

The film is from 1941 and the wolf man makeup is, accordingly, not spectacular. And many of the sets look like (well-dressed) sound stages. And that is about the only bad things that come to mind. Good story well-executed.

Notes:
.>. First of several films with Lon Chaney Jr. as Lawrence Talbot/the wolf man.
.>. Bela Lugosi has a minor supporting role which he plays excellently!

Better luck next year.

It's not a Hammer film, is it?

Ice (1994)

A gangster movie starring Traci Lords, the lady who made the headlines in the 1980s when it was revealed she'd appeared in hardcore porn films as a 16-year-old. After that she 'went straight' and built a career as a regular actress and singer.

This is pretty generic stuff, but it's far from unwatchable, and some of the IMDB reviewers (average rating 3.8/10) are a bit unfair on it, I'd say.

No, I think Hammer Studios had gone belly up by then, but the screenplay was written by a co-creator of the original Outer Limits and Psycho. Hammer and Amicus Studios are def in the Horror Studio Hall of Fame tho, to say nothing of Cushing and Lee.
