Yes. Because, it didn't look like Max was able to save her. Then, in the next scene, she is is fine and ascending on that elevator. Suspicious.
What is also suspicious is that Valhalla is mentioned a lot, and the rock fortress residence thing has resemblances to it, judging by the Valhalla Wikipedia entry.
I now even suspect that the whole movie might take place in Valhalla, or something like it.
I can see why it seems she died but what I think is happening is she lives along with the Queens who are all allowed on the platform by the Warboys.
Immortem Joe, the Warlord, created the Citadel to resemble Valhalla because he was both fascinated and fixated on that mythology, which happens to be Teutonic and he was granted artistic and imaginative license due to impending and dire circumstances. In other words, he took over and did what he wanted.
The idea is the women returned to the Citadel and are the ones ascending upward rather than Joe, defeating the dictatorship that oppressed the inhabitants. The next sequel is called The Wasteland so I guess Mad Max will be wandering around in that area Furiosa traveled through in search of The Green Place, not sure if she will return.
The Citadel can be taken as completely imaginary or otherworldly but that would subtract from the Post Apocalyptic feel.
