And then again, Mr. Burns had "hypohemia" (lack of blood) on the Simpsons.

You wanna say that to my face?!

Hey! Here's a thought!

IT'S A MOTHER****ING TV SHOW! FICTION! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE 100% ACCURATE!

E.R. had more believable cases because they had a good writer (Michael Crichton)

I don't like to watch T.V. shows that are poorly written.

House is less about the diseases and more about House.

It's not supposed to be accurate.

Nowadays House is more popular then E.R. for good reason - it's more fun to watch.

and if you wanna rip on the show, why not rip on the entirely intellectually devoid 24 instead? i mean the plot lines are horrible and just the idea that this one guy has gone through 6 of the worst days of anyone's life...any one would commit suicide or be suffering from extreme ptds by that point.

Besides, poorly written TV shows rarely get the Peabody. The most prestigious award for televised media.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peabody_Award

Along with such television as Battlestar Galatica, the Shield and South Park, House received a 2005 Peabody Award

There is nothing interesting to watch on Television nowadays, I wish I were in 1232 where people were educated and the arts was practiced more often. (Florence Italy, preferably)

no you don't.

if you really did, you would ditch the computer, electricity, television, and medicine.

you're romanticizing exaggerated opinions that based on fallacious ideals.

There was no such thing as art in Europe during Middle Ages.

The nobles were more concerned with solidifying their positions.

Meanwhile the Vatican was (And is still is) trying to control everything but ruthlessly repressing all though againist them.

well 1232 is before the enlightenment....so it wouldn't be especially good or impressive art.

and for some reason, i have a feeling the literacy rate in 1232 italy wasn't too great.

The literacy rate then would be about 3-5% I think.
