It must be old!

It was all over for the King when he started making movies. Hell, when he got out of the army...

He took his own life, unfortunately!

I prefer "Bubba Ho Tep" as far as Elvis movies go... XD

...I don't know that he literally took his life , altho , obviously , he led a rather unhealthy lifestyle...( As do I - I , obviously(??) , have rather less options in front of me...) In my 40s , I was pop-culture aware when he was still alive , so perhaps I approach him differently as a pop cultur figure...

It was show biz that killed him , burning him out

Also , his manager didn't really care too much for his health , it was mostly about the $$$ for Col Parker (can't believe he took 50% of his earnings....E should've sacked him & sued him ! !)

Yeah , his diet wasn't healthy & then there was pills for getting up & pills for falling to sleep....endless cycle (he also refused to call prescription pills for drugs , drugs in his opinion was the street variant)

He should NEVER have been on stage post-1972ish !
