I have been a fan of the show for quite a long time, but I must confess that i am disappointed by the new season. The fact is, the ori were supposed to be THE ost powerful enermy that SG 1 had ever faced. I was expecting a much darker, broader depiction of the struggle.I want to see what the priors and their armies are actually capable of. The way things have been handled to date, it would seem as though they were less of a threat than the Gua'uld or the Replicators. At least in both situations you got the feeling that they (SG1) might not be able win.
For a final season , season 10 has been disappointing and has proven that one thing is missing from the show - Macguyver 8) (general O'neil)
Vala doesn't add much to the show either. they could have done wihtought her. She was fine as a guest character, but she doesn't have the same effect when she is always present.
I can go on and on about the things I hate about season 10 but i'll reserve it for you.

So my question is what do you like/ hate about the show?

Well, now I've seen the last episode...

I wanted intense war, much greater than anything in any SG-1 episode before. I wanted a big change in the situation as well. Sci-Fi are so stupid for cancelling the show.

I have to agree with you. the final ep of season nine was really awesome :D . I expected that kind of intensity to remain for the remainder of the season.
I haven't seen the last ep yet, but i've heard that there will be two "made for tv" SG-1 movies. One of them will wrap up the Ori arc and as for the other movie...well it has something to do with time travel :? My info might be out of date though so i might be wrong

There's still another half season left.

I've seen most of the season(up to ep 18). Sci-fi will only start airing the remainder of the season in april. Sky One has been airing the eps for some time.

Ten years is a long time for any TV series to run, let alone a sci-fi series. And many TV series start showing signs of "too many trips to the well" long before the tenth season. Star Trek TNG and CSI (Las Vegas), to name two -- TNG lasted 7 years (and with a couple of exceptions, its seventh season stank to high heaven), and CSI it its current seventh season has become unwatcheable.

So I don't mind SG1 having a weak 10th season -- it's still a pretty darn good run.

I think SG-1 jumped the shark a long time ago. And I used to be quite a devotee of the series.

Favorite episode was when they were stuck in a time loop... O'Neill and Teal'c teeing off in front of the stargate was hilarious.

I love this show, even though I'm not a big scifi person. I'm a little mad that Scifi cancelled it because I kind of liked this new arc. I really hope they don't do the time travel movie because I really hate it when they do time travel, but I know some people love it. However, I have to say that Scifi is making a big mistake in canceling Stargate SG-1 because that's the only reason I even watch the Scifi channel. I think they will lose people by canceling it but that's just me.
