What Hulk Hogan did was careless and inexcusable, however, you can't take away what he did in the WWE and the pro wrestling world in general. If it weren't for the Hulkster, I wouldn't be talking about pro wrestling like I would right now. I remember liking him, Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Mr. Pefect a.k.a. Curt Hening when I was a little kid like 7-8 years old. I still consider them to be legends in the industry and Hogan is no different. Erasing history will only make things worse so we should live, learn, and not to make the same mistakes like in the past or else history will repeat itself in a negative way.

I somewhat agree with this. Of course I don't approve of Hogan's language and I feel he should be rightfully reprimanded, but I think the damage to his public perception is worse than having his existence erased from the WWE. Funny how there was no action taken when the Ultimate Warrior made homophobic comments, and I'm sure there are scummier things some of these guys have done outside the ring.

Jeez, it was something Hulk had said eight years ago! Not to excuse the use of that ugly word, but if something was going to be done about it, it should have been back then.
I first started watching pro-wrestling back in my junior high days, just before the first Wrestlmania, when guys like Hulk, and my absolute favorite wrestler of all time, Rowdy Roddy Piper, were in their prime.
