Even if you don't like survival movies very much, and with Everest now in theaters, along with
The Revenant due in December, which survival movies do you consider the best?

Yup, one of the few times a book translated perfectly into a film in my opinion

Naked prey is a classic.

There is a recent Norwegian film about Thor Heyerdhal`s Kon Tiki expedition across the Pacific in his balsa wood raft which was pretty good.

Spencer Tracey in The Northwest Passage is also a classic.

Apocalypto was pretty good.

Ice Cold in Alex could be called a survival film too I suppose........mmmm beer!
