What did you think of this movie? Many, if not most, of the scenes were claustrophobia-inducing. I was surprised at how creepy the inventor was and how wimpy the protagonist was, but I did appreciate the fresh take on genius that the inventor could be seen to represent.

I also appreciated the irony that the A.I.'s passing of the Turing Test proved to be the undoing of both of the main characters.

I enjoyed it, but there wasn't really enough about the test for me.

The main two characters didn't seem right to me, but when I realised it was an Alex Garland it made more sense!?

The nakedness later on wasn't really required.

The part where one of the AI's realises she is a robot half reminded me of a Philip K Dick story where a robot realises he has a punched tape in his chest, at which point he starts blocking / chopping bits to test the results.

I may pick up the book at some point to see if its more thought provoking / in depth.

Nicely done with plot twists.
