My all-time most disliked television-commercial advertisement is "The Health Hotline Dr. Jason Buchwald" which tells us how it can help those who cannot afford health insurance.

Some people might think that means that they can sign up for ObamaCare by calling the ad's phone number or going to the ad's website ( http://www.thehealthcarehotline.com ). But, it really means that this ad, The Health Hotline and the website are not affiliated with The Affordable Care Act, ObamaCare or the U.S. government, in any way.

This commercial makes use of wording and pictures that might fool some people into believing that it is part of the Affordable Care Act / ObamaCare system, which it is not. Instead, Health Hotline appears to simply collect names and telephone numbers and then sell or give that information to other companies to call and sell you insurance. The fine print of this ad warns us not to buy anything until consulting with a licensed Insurance Agent.

Hahaha! Great post, Jory. I was just about to say, "All of them." I cannot stand commercials. It's even worse when some become popular and coworkers want to joke about them with you.

My least favorite commercials are those that are basically telling people that if they or a loved one has suffered from something because of something else then they have a right to a settlement or whatever. Especially if it's in regard to a prescription drug that has dangerous side effects that probably aren't all that common to begin with.

The General Auto Insurance ads get on my nerves too, but that's due to how low-budget they look more than anything.

Commercials just seem to get more creepy and disgusting all the time. Just the other evening I saw some ads for a mouse trap called Tomcat, and they show what to do with the dead mice afterwards by dressing the corpses in little outfits and I don't really remember what they were doing because THEY DRESSED MOUSE CORPSES IN LITTLE OUTFITS!! :eew:

Well, the mouse corpses are obviously fake and even have little X's for eyes, but it conjures up images of the real mice I've had to dispose of after my cats killed them, with blood and stuff, and it not amusing nor pleasant.

I wouldn't know because I don't really watch t.v....streaming of the internet, Netflix and shows/movies on DVD is how I view my t.v. I guess on occasion I watch other peoples t.vs but not enough to see much commercials.

Anything that flashes a bunch of rapid-fire images, flickers, or swooshes around. Which is getting to be a LOT of them, grrrr. I don't know how they can even do that--I thought that violated the Americans With Disabilities Act. It's gotten to where I only watch public TV.

i hate that godaddy commercial of that redhead woman going, "i just sold my first item to someone that isn't family!" And then her and the visiting family in the store proceed to do that freeky movement for like 20ish seconds.

however, i have a whole playlist of commercials that just make me laugh so hard every time i see them....
Commericals that are absolutely hilarious!
