To me there seem to be relatively few with a 70s theme. Notable exceptions: Life on Mars, That 70s Show, The Slums of Beverly Hills, Summer of Sam, and American Hustle.
This has mostly to do with the 70s in the US. I think Europe went in a greatly different direction at that time, but I suppose there are similarities as well.
However, it seems to me there are FAR more films and TV programs about the 60s. Am I wrong? I would be happy to hear any theories. I have some of my own, but would rather not try to set a particular direction.
