Watched the pilot last week and it was fukking amazing! Just sitting down to watch the second episode right now. Anyone else watching Fear the Walking Dead?

I've watched the first two episodes, and I very much enjoyed it. I like how the zombie plague begins slowly, without anyone really understanding what's going on. Very different from the original series, where Rick wakes up in the hospital to find the world has suddenly ended.

I'm interested to see if/how it'll turn into the world from Rick's show. I'm partial on the lead being female, but kind of excited to see how she does. I can't for all of the fun stuff like "The last time we tried to trust someone, they ate Bob's leg." "We're very hungry so we'll eat this ex-pet." "Hallelujah, warm shower!" hehe

i was so excited for this to start! i hear a lot of people complaining about hiw slow it is but thats what i love the most, the build up of the beginning of the apocalypse so far i cant stand the sister, she is so annoying and im just waiting for her to get killed off. but Nick reminds me of a baby Johnny Depp.

I enjoyed the first two episodes, they're doing a better job establishing the characters and them not being completely stupid or unlikeable certainly helps. Kind of annoyed they took a week off for Labor Day, didn't have anything to watch this Sunday while next week we got football.

I watched the first episode and have the last two on tivo. I enjoyed it. The character set-ups were a little artificial, but once they got going with the zombies, it was cool. I too enjoy how the effect is slow and prodding. Like they're just hanging on to reality.

Lol, I totally got the hots for the sister so I want her to stick around, but the guy is cool too. I hope the both live through the series.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a prequel for fear the walking dead...Not positive though.

How long could Rick have been at the hospital without support? The hospitals seemed to have went down pretty quick in Fear.

I liked the third episode and actually LOVE Madison now, but Travis talking Madison out of putting down the neighbor made me dislike him a little more than I already did. Can't imagine Madison's family dying yet, but maybe Liz (more Chris drama) or Griselda or whatever that guy's wife's name is (also drama-- like when Andrea's sister died in TWD). Then again, if Liz is a nurse, maybe it'd be better to keep her. I read that ratings dropped, but I'm more excited now than before! lol

So I spent the day watching a Fear marathon and am all caught up (and feel much better.) My favorite moment thus far is when the neighbour is chewing on the dog when he turns on Travis. And Travis still tries to reason with him! I hope this is the same universe as the walking dead. I would like Travis and Rick to meet. It could be. There was a birthday party at the beginning of WD too - maybe the same one?
I don't think the Salazars are bad - I think they have just had bad experiences.
Also, I thought Madison should have insisted that the kid she met up with in the school come back with her. But the emphasis seems to be on family.
