I'm talking about writing, acting, directing, makeup, costumes, "era authenticity", etc.----maybe, you even especially appreciated the job of the Casting Director, for a particular film.

Please don't post "Special Effects", cuz that's "too easy", if you know what I mean----this is about deep appreciation for the things that not everybody would notice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other than her acting, obviously, I have to admire the makeup artist and Costume Designer for "Tea with Mussolini", cuz Judi Dench was practically UNrecognizable!
As for when I did NOT appreciate an element: I did NOT appreciate the job of the Costume Designer on "Dream Girls"! When Jennifer Hudson's character came-out at the end, she wasn't wearing a slip under her gown, and Jennifer was wearing bikini underwear, and you could see her deep well of a belly button----NOT attractive; besides, it wasn't "era authentic", EITHER, cuz in THOSE days, women wouldn't be caught DEAD without a slip!! I know----I know----I'm "old school", but I can't help it----it's HORRIBLE----besides, it actually changes the "hang" of a dress / gown, and NOT for-the-better, either!!
