as an aspie...actors in other roles

As an aspie, do you ever find it hard to watch someone you've watched for years on a show or a movie series, to be cast in something that's so outside what you've known them for all along?

I was trying to watch an episode of Blunt Talk just now. I don't think I can bring myself to watch the rest of the episode. He just got through picking up a hooker. Quite by accident, I suppose. He was driving drunk after all.

Captain Picard was like a grandfather figure to me. Riker was, of course, dad.
