Years ago, I watched actor "Tim Curry" play Macbeth and was absolutely astounded! I can't find it anywhere!!
I know a DVD or Bluray must exist somewhere. Has anyone come across it??

I've lost count of all the Macbeths I've seen but I've never heard of Tim Curry doing it. If he played it live and there was some kind of video release, it would be listed on his IMDb page, and there's nothing like that on it. :(

Tim Curry is listed as playing MacDuff.

Can't seem to find the movie though...yet.....

Edit...sorry...turns out that was a dream cast of a movie....I think...hell, who knows....but can't find the movie.

I FOUND IT!! !! At a local library right near my house. It wasn't Tim Curry. It was an actor by the name of John Finch.
I can't tell them apart. The movie was called "Macbeth". It was made in 1971 by Roman Polanski. I looked for this movie on and off for about 20 years.

Excellent version! I picked up the Criterion Blu-ray when it came out:

Possibly my favorite version, with Throne of Blood right behind it.

Amazingly, this is the version my English teacher showed us in high school, despite the graphic violence and full-frontal nudity.
