When I was a little kid, I started watching spongebob after I first saw the episode featuring pantera. I thought it was hilarious how a little kids show had pantera in it, and I just thought it was hysterical. I then began binge watching it in the hopes they would feature tool or some other really good band, but was disappointed when it never happened.

Did anyone else feel that way, or am I the only metal head on these forums?

I think I know the episode you are referring to, but I don't remember the song.

When I googled the songwriter, Wikipedia states he is a rock artist. Rock is different from Metal, so in my opinion, no.

Though I am probably the only here who thinks this, so In the majority's opinion, maybe yes.

In the movie, they also did a parody of a Twisted Sister song.
