First of all I'm looking forward to this movie coming out, but the thing that bothers me is that I can't but help they may change a few things to the origins. I don't mind if it's a few tiny little changes like in the original movie Uncle Ben wasn't killed at home but was killed waiting for Peter. In the trailers we see that Peter Parker does get bitten by the spider but does he try to earn money in wrestling, does Uncle Ben still tell Peter that with great power comes great responsbility, does he still get shot etc because from what I've heard especially with the whole parents thing Uncle Ben may not die. But he has to in order for Peter to become Spider-Man. Also in the trailers and TV spots there's a line by someone where he say's "Did you really think what happened to you was an accident". Still maybe it might work but we'll see.

I don't know about all this since I been so used to see Spider Man played by Tobey McGuire. At least to me I think Tobey is way better looking than this other actor.

I'm really looking forward to it since I'm a nerd. I don't mind some changes, but if Uncle Ben doesn't die, that may bother me a bit.

Of course when we say it like that some people might think we're kinda sick for wishing a poor old man to be shot to death, but him dying is so we can feel sad for him and sorry for Parker. The same goes for Bruce Wayne when his folks are killed and Kal-El when his parents and planet are destroyed though he is an infant at the time.

It looks really good and the cast is much much MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the cast in Raimi's series. Plus there is no possible way for it to be worse than Spider-Man 3. I can deal with some minor changes to the comic canon as long as it's a good movie.

I thought it was better than the other trilogy. I hope the upcoming sequels follow through.

I just hope that sony won't go through this whole idea that Andrew Garfield mentioned that he would like Spider-Man to be gay. Don't get me wrong I'm not against homosexuality but it's Spider-Man for crying out loud. I think it has caused alot of contrevesy.

We'll never know. They have stopped after the second movie. Instead, they will focus on the reboot Spider-Man in the MCU.

Maybe not. Spider-Man will be introduced in Captain America: Civil War, which means he will already be active.

Now I see the two Amazing Spider-Man movies as I see the 2001 Planet of the Apes reboot. I now think they should have not made those two. The latest Planet of the Apes is terrific. Let's hope the New Spider-Man will be the same way.

I don't know how they can top Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2, though.

I honestly wasn't totally happy with Doc Ock - Marvel purist that I am - as they made him a grieving widower controlled by his own technology, while in the comics he was just a maniac with mechanical arms. Then again, I suppose the Marvel character is rather one dimensional.
