DC Extended Universe, although I haven't seen Batman VS Superman.

The Batman Reboot Trilogy

Batman 1989, Batman Returns and Batman Begins captured Gotham very well and reminded me of Dark City and The Crow, they captured a certain neo-noir atmosphere.

The Dark Knight is a masterpiece and definitely captured the philosophical dualism between the Batman and the Joker.

I saw The Dark Knight trilogy recently. It was as good as the first time. On the other hand, Batman vs. Superman was a huge letdown for me. Its story wasn't as complex as Nolan's according to me. Quite a bummer. :hmph:
