Who's watching the premier tonight?
Think the Whisperers will debut in Season 7 or 8?
So many questions, including the obvious "who did Negan kill??"

Only 20 minutes to go :)

Time to discuss!

My wife, daughter, and I certainly did. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! Not only did we see one major character murdered, but two. And just as bad, we see Rick beaten down and humiliated in a way that has never happened before.
One thing for sure, I hate Negan with a passion. I didn't think they could top the Governor, but they did. I hate Negan, and I want him to die horribly. The same actor who plays Negan, Jeffery Morgan, is superb playing villains, as he had been the morally reprehensible superhero, the Comedian, in Watchmen.

And I thought the Governor was bad news. I hope they get Negan good.

Generally I am not a fan of tv... but this show... oh this show. My daughter and her boyfriend came by last night so we could all watch.

Now see, I actually like Negan. The guy is a trip and then some. He is by far my favorite bad guy of the show to date. Fanfrickintastic, that guy. Yep.

I was certain the one taken out would be Glenn. I never read the graphic novels, but I knew Glenn still being alive was inconsistent with the novels. I also thought maybe Daryl due to him being a tv guy and not so much a book guy... but I figured with the Glenn death scare last season that they were kinda bracing us for his upcoming death.

It never even occurred to me that Negan would take out two of them. 8O I should have, but nope.

I didn't think a show could make me feel as hopeless as the characters in it.
Poor Glenn. Abe was ready for it, he so wasn't.

Rick was broken down so much it will be hard to imagine him in All Out War.
For those of you who read the comics we all know the good and bad that lies ahead.
For those that don't, things will get better. A lot to resolve, but it'll be worth it.

I have to say while it's probably the hardest episode of TWD I've ever had to endure it was also one of the best.
JDM as Negan is the most solid villain the show has had to date. He isn't flawed, he's just evil.
Whether the TV show will let him live or die is going to be interesting.

Abraham was so ready. Not that I was glad he got taken out, but the way he did it... badassery 'til the end. The guy who plays him did such a great job with that. Holy perfection, Batman.

Yeah, I felt bad for Glenn. He really didn't seem ready for that. I feel bad for Daryl over that as well. Whether or not anyone else will blame him, he has to be blaming himself. I wonder how much we will be seeing of him in the next few episodes.

This show loves to give us sleazy characters to hate, doesn't it? Ugh.

Negan actually let them off light (for good reason, he ain't growing a garden after all remember?) if you somehow throw a rather thick, hefty blanket over the manner in which he dispatched of big abe and glenn. They straight up massacred a whole platoon of his unit in their frigging sleep! He could've just butchered them all with the bat or riddled them all with bullets, they are now stuck within some hopeless, limited machinery but they can still forge a solid slice of existence for themselves if they play nice with the mob... for a while, between blips and bloodspurts dished out by that unruly outfit... we all know they're going to eventually figure out a way to get together with the other group Morgan's ran into, get some inside intel from Daryl and we'll see how it goes. I like the comic arc but they switch stuff around so it's fun to guess. Negan is a crafty swine, he is sadistic but he is not dim or one dimensional, the extremes he's gone to, to be able to cast that shadow shows Rick what he'd have to become to have ever got to that clearing on an equal playing field... no excuse for not scoping out the 'mission' before embarking upon it though!
