The design for Beast reminds me a lot of how Beorn looks in the second Hobbit movie.

I just wish people would stop remaking Disney movies and maybe use the 'original' fairy tales for once [as original as such old stories can be, at least]. I might go see it. :shrug:

Personally, I'm not looking forward to this one.

To be fair, I haven't looked forward to any of the live action remakes. It seems exceptionally lazy on Disney's part to just re-do films that they've already made.

That said, none so far have seemed terrible and (if I ignore the fact that it's a remake and drive the original out of my mind) Jungle Book was actually quite good when I saw that. But, I feel that Beauty and the Beast has been done all wrong.

I don't like the casting choice for Belle - Emma Watson's voice drives me crazy and I don't think the overly-posh thing works for an inventor's daughter, even if she is a bookworm. I also think that the CGI furniture just looks creepy, rather than having the adorable charm that the original had - especially Chip! Gaston seems good, but from what I've seen that's the only thing that looks 'right' so far.
