It honestly looked pretty interesting, though the last thing I want to do is feed the "reboot/remake every Hollywood movie ever" beast.

Unless people like it when it comes out, this might be one of those movies I'll wait to premier on TV or wait to get a Blu-Ray or DVD of cheap. That's pretty much what I do with the "Bayformers" movies.
